Does this come in multiple colors?
I am overwhelmed by all the choices here. I bought some of your lights that are waterproof. I did not realize they had a rubberized coating that I had to remove or burn off before I could solder power leads to them. I am looking for multiple colors, NOT waterproof, with each color on its own string of LEDS points I can solder 12V leads to. I must be able to cut the string into 2 or 3 foot lengths or less and solder each to a pair of power leads. They must also be backed with peel off self-adhesive glue. It seems most of your LED strings are 8mm wide, which I can use. But I would prefer lighter weight strings since they will be attached to RC model aircraft for flying at night. Is this item that sort, does it come in multiple colors and do you have thinner lighter weight self-adhesive backed models?
1 answerHistorical customer service reply. Prices, promotions, ordering steps and service times in this reply may no longer apply. For current information, use the prices and terms shown on Redway or contact https://www.redwayfeedandgarden.com/contact/. The 5M DC 12V LED COB Strip Light you’re looking at is primarily available in warm white, natural white, and cool white12. It doesn’t seem to come in multiple colors on a single strip, which might not meet your specific needs for RC model aircraft. For your requirements, see the link : [historical LED strip category] and here are some suggestions: Multiple Colors: Look for RGB or RGBIC LED strips. These strips allow you to have multiple colors on a single strip, and you can control each color individually. Brands like Govee and DAYBETTER offer such options Non-Waterproof: Ensure the product description specifies non-waterproof IP20 or IP33. This will avoid the rubberized coating issue you encountered Cuttable and Solderable: Most LED strips are cuttable at marked intervals usually every 3 LEDs. Ensure the strip you choose mentions this feature4. Self-Adhesive Backing: Many LED strips come with a 3M adhesive backing for easy installation Lighter Weight: For RC model aircraft, you might want to consider LED strips that are specifically marketed as lightweight and flexible. These are often thinner and more suitable for delicate applications
cutting the strip
As this strip comes with wires on both ends can the strip be cut and used in 2 locations.
